The Home Service Hub

Terms of use

Last updated 20 September 2026.

These terms cover use of The Home Service Hub at thehomeservicehub.com.au. By sending a homeowner request or a trade application you agree to them. Australian Consumer Law still applies.

What The Home Service Hub is

The Home Service Hub is a lead marketplace. We introduce homeowners to local tradies. We are not the contractor on the job unless a separate written agreement says so. Once a tradie is matched, they contract with the homeowner directly.

Homeowners

  • Requests are free. You must give accurate contact details and a fair description of the job.
  • A matched tradie will contact you. We do not publish a public phone number and we do not promise a set arrival time.
  • Any quote, warranty or workmanship sits between you and the tradie.
  • Do not use the form for life-threatening emergencies. Contact emergency services if someone is in danger.

Trades and lead fees

  • Applying does not guarantee approval. We may accept or decline a buyer.
  • Lead fees are in Australian dollars and include GST. Starter prices are shown on the for trades page and may change.
  • Leads are exclusive: the first approved buyer to accept and pay gets the customer details.
  • Payment for a lead is taken when you accept (Square or another payment link we send). Unlocking contact details is the product you buy.
  • You must hold the right licence and current insurance for the work you accept.

Refunds

If a paid lead’s contact number is dead, or the request is clear spam, ask us for a credit or refund within 24 hours of accepting. We may refuse a refund where you already spoke with a genuine customer, or where the job was real but you chose not to take the work.

Acceptable use

Do not submit fake jobs, harvest contacts, or use the site to harass anyone. We may refuse or remove a request or a buyer account if we reasonably believe the service is being misused.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for the quality of trade work, missed appointments, or losses that come from a job between a homeowner and a tradie. Nothing in these terms limits rights you cannot give up under Australian Consumer Law.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the marketplace grows. The date at the top will change when we do. Questions about these terms can be sent through the request form (write “terms” in the job details). We do not publish a public phone number.
