When you request a pro we collect:

• your name, email and mobile
• suburb
• the trade you need, urgency, and a short job description

When you apply as a tradie we collect:

• your name, email, trading name and optional ABN
• trades and suburbs you cover
• your confirmation that you hold the right licence and insurance

Our website also stores basic technical logs (for example, that a form was submitted) so we can keep the service working.

Why we collect it

We use this information to:

• match a homeowner request to an approved local tradie
• let that tradie contact you about the job
• review trade applications
• handle lead payments, refunds and complaints
• improve the marketplace and keep it safe from spam

Who we share it with

If you are a homeowner, we share your contact details with the matched tradie after they accept the lead. We do not sell your details to unrelated marketers.

We may use hosting, email and payment providers (including Square for tradie lead fees) to run the service. Those providers only get what they need to do their job.

We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect people from fraud or harm.

How long we keep it

We keep job requests and trade applications for as long as we need them to match work, handle refunds, and meet record-keeping duties. You can ask us to correct or delete information that we no longer need.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to fix it, or ask us to stop using it where the law allows. Use the request form or the trade application form and write “privacy request” in the details. We do not publish a public phone number.

Children

This service is for adult homeowners and licensed trades. Do not send us personal information about a child unless you are the parent or guardian organising work at that home.
